We are a non-profit tennis club located in Salem, MA, serving the sports community of the Boston area North Shore. Everyone is welcome. We offer 2 indoor tru-bounce surfaced courts, 2 outdoor Har-Tru courts, Locker Rooms, Cable TV & WiFi, Racquet repairs & stringing, Youth and Adult Lessons, Summer Camps and Pickleball. Tips for using our indoor courts:

With our club being so heavily used this is a good time to review some common court courtesies at the John L. Foley Tennis Center:

• Check in with staff on arrival so all players are accounted for

• Please keep noise levels down when there is play on the neighboring court

• Always wait for a break in the action when entering/exiting

• Tennis footwear only on court, no running shoes or black soles that will leave marks

• Do not hit balls against the near court wall when far court is in use

• Proceed at a good pace when crossing over a court before and after play

• Wrap up your match in a timely manner when players are waiting

• Please use locker room facilities for changing before and after matches (do not remove shirts, etc. on the court)

• Leave locker rooms in the same condition as when you arrived in regards to cleanliness and sanitation

• Cancel any unused courts promptly by phone or online so others may book the time

• During play, return balls to neighboring courts only during breaks in the action

• Recycle your used tennis balls in the bin provided

• Please put used pickleball tape in the large barrel between courts for disposal

The John L. Foley Tennis Center

The facilities at Northshore Tennis are named in honor of retired club tennis pro and New England Tennis Hall of Famer, John Foley. The club is a non-profit organization offering programs for tennis players of all ages.
